If you haven’t heard yet, Pesh & Tilla from LiveMixtapes are putting together a 2 disc mixtape called “Cleveland Made, Cleveland Paid.” The first disc will consist of Cleveland classics that were rockin the clubs from 2005-2008, and the second disc will be made up of brand new hits! I had the privilege to sit in on a few of the studio sessions, and I can’t wait to hear the final outcome. Expect to hear some tracks from Ray Cash, Billard, Al Fatz, Pooh Gutta, Ski Mask Malley, Boss Lucci, Wreckin Squad, Ezzy, MGK, Ray Jr., King Chip, Bankie Travolta, and more!
Boss Lucci drops his first single “Ima Be Honest,” off of Everything Lucci 2.0.The single features DJ Steph Floss. The craziest part about this track is it was never planned or anything of that nature, it was purely a Blessing. Lucci ran into Floss at the airport when he was going to LA and Floss was going to South Beach, coincidentally they were on the same flight. CanesCuzn Harold had his beat machine handy and got Floss to say “Ima Be Honest” and he flipped it and the beat was completely produced on the jet. So many Blessings on #WAVEon.
#WAVEon #WAVEon #EverythingLucci is back with tuckins on ya! Also just announced, Boss Lucci will be touring with Stalley on his #NoPlaceLikeHomeTour.
With a style and delivery that he can undoubtedly claim as his own, Boss Lucci is sure to make his presence felt on his new Everything Lucci EP. Effortlessly throwing goofy punchlines about everything from Tri-C professors to drinking champagne with local chickenheads, Lucci uses 8 tracks to showcase his raw talent when it comes to laying rhymes on hard beats. Boss Lucci also reaches out to a pair of local legends in Tae 4rm Da 50 and Caine for some lyrical assistance. The buzzing MC who fuses elements of mid 2000’s “Cap Rap” and East coast boom-bap style is sure to generate a lot of attention in the next few months, so stay tuned and listen to Everything Lucci.
I can’t say enough about Boss Lucci. You really just have to listen to his music to understand this man has some of the best club tracks coming out of Cleveland. For example, Makin’ My Name, and some other tracks you guys will be hearing soon! “#HBCD” is Preme Dibiasi‘s track, and I don’t mean to take anything from him because he killed it. It just seems like everything Lucci touches these days is gold.
