El Rey (Formerly Manny Sosa) has been buzzing for sometime now in Cleveland and has finally dropped his debut project B.S.T-(Blood,Sweat & Tears). With his melodic and ambient voice, El Rey gives a nice feel and twist to his gritty street tales of living in Cleveland that hasn’t been heard from an artist since Royal Camp days. Stand out tracks are “Hard” which is my current favorite , “In God We Trust” and “H*es Know” which features his HiddenColorsEmpire label mates Banko Bomaye of KBM, Hollywood(Harry J) & Korey Bryant. As you listen to this project El Rey references RSM(Real Street Money) which will be his group project with Hollywood and Korey Bryant. Looking forward to seeing more visuals from this project and hopefully hearing his group project very soon.
Great concept, great sound, really glad to hear this quality of production coming out The Land. By far one of my favorite projects coming of Cleveland in years…Standout out tracks “5 minutes” and “Roll up , Mo’Love ”
Ghutty Mac of Creez Mob released his follow up to his debut project iMacP on Halloween. Creez Mob gained a national spot light after King Chip heard one of their songs on an LA radio station last year.
The stand out tracks on iMacP 2 are “Excessive Flexin” “Roshe Run” “Fried Rice”
Overall the project gives you a different vibe and sound from what you’re currently hearing from any Cleveland rappers. With such a solid cosign from Cleveland legend Chip we hope to hear more from Ghutty Mac and Creez Mob in the near future
